Deliveries

Our Promise to You

We will uphold the trust you place in us to deliver your boat timely and safely, utilizing:

  • Experienced captain and crew

  • Top-notch communication

  • Conservative decision making

  • Fair, transparent pricing

  • A clear, concise contract

Experienced Professionals

Captain Willie's Yacht Services LLC evolved out of my passion for the ocean. I've boated as long as I can remember. I hold a USCG Master Mariner (NC) license, with a sailing endorsement. I have thousands of miles of experience moving and racing a wide variety of boats in many corners of the world. I've held high-powered corporate jobs managing large teams and big budgets and worked in various marine industry positions, including teaching, repairing boats, and selling yacht charters. I've developed a network of very talented, responsible individuals to assist with deliveries depending on the location and the specific circumstances of your proposed delivery.

Conservative Decisions

Safety is our number one priority for all deliveries. The captain will have the final say throughout the delivery and will make conservative decisions. We will thoroughly inspect the vessel before we depart and document any existing damage or problems. Click Here for Inspection Checklist. We will monitor weather in the days leading up to the delivery and during the voyage and adjust departures dates and/or routes to avoid unsafe conditions. We will err toward caution while underway to minimize risk and wear on your boat. We will log location, systems and any issues that arise during the trip and present a report to you upon final inspection of the vessel. We will share our location with you via satellite throughout the trip. Upon arrival, we will inspect the boat once again and provide documentation of any known damage and recommended repairs or replacements.

Top-Notch Communication

We will communicate with you throughout the process, starting with our initial consultation and continuing through the planning and contracting processes, voyage and final inspection. Indeed, we hope our relationship will last long after that!

If cell service is not available, we will provide satellite tracking and messaging during the voyage so you can keep track of our progress and ETD. We will communicate on a regular schedule regarding the boat, weather and any issues we are experiencing or anticipating.

Fair, Transparent Pricing

Many variables affect pricing. Short deliveries may be a flat rate. Longer, more complicated trips will probably entail a daily rate for the captain, crew and provisioning. In either case, you will also be responsible for expenses such as fuel and oil, dockage, transit fees, travel, etc., which we will not markup. We may require a credit card or deposit to cover expenses and will avoid unnecessary costs. We will sleep on the boat if it's in the water, and we will anchor for the night when it makes sense to do so. Please contact us to discuss in more detail.

Clear, Concise Contract

After we speak, we will prepare an estimate and proposed contract, which will be concise and easy to understand. The contract will cover rates, expenses, payment, seaworthiness of the vessel, insurance requirements, cancellation terms, industry standard limitations of liability, and more.
